Learn Stained Glass in the Heart of Vancouver

Whether you've never held a glass cutter or you're ready to level up your craft, Blast from the Glass has a workshop for you. All tools and materials are provided — all you need to bring is your imagination.

Beginner Workshops introduce you to the fundamentals of stained glass — cutting, shaping, and assembling your first piece. These run over a couple of evenings or as a single-day crash course, so you can find a format that fits your schedule.

Intermediate & Advanced Courses take your skills further with techniques like framing, 3D construction, and original design work — perfect if you've got some experience and want a new challenge.

Beyond the craft itself, these classes are genuinely community-building. Expect great conversation, creative energy, and a room full of people who love making things with their hands.

Classes are held at Octopus Studios (2nd floor, 393 Powell Street) in Vancouver's vibrant Downtown Eastside. Note: the studio door is often locked — if you have a workshop booked and need to be let in, just give us a call!
